When I needed to get my makeup done for a university ball I picked up Nars Laguna Bronzer & Orgasm Blush.
I can definitely see what all the hype is about!
Laguna
I was told by the shop assistant that this bronzer is the highest sold product at Mecca Cosmetica. It is perfect for contouring because it is super pigmented and there isn't too much shimmer. It blends beautifully so it makes under your cheeks look naturally, slightly hollow without having a brown stripe across your face. It can also assist in making your face look slimmer when blended up through the temple and under the jaw bone.
Laguna bronzer is perfect for all skin tones. I use it when I fake tan and when I'm my natural pasty colour. Unlike a lot of bronzers, the colour is a very natural brown which gives a sun kissed tan look and a healthy glow. You can make your cheeks look more defined by adding more without looking orange. This bronzer will stay on your face all day so there is no need to worry about reapplication.
Orgasm
It is a beautiful coral coloured blush with gold reflects. In the packaging and when swatched it looks really shimmery but on the face it gives a beautiful flush of colour. When caught in the light the gold does shine through, which I adore however this may be too much for some people. Orgasm is suitable to wear at night as well as an everyday blush. A little goes a long way with this product so it will last quite a long time. Once again, in my opinion it is suitable for most skin tones.
Used in a combination, Laguna & Orgasm are perfect. I have been complimented on how beautiful and radiant my cheeks/skin looks when wearing these two together.
My older sister - who doesn't like to wear much more than foundation and mascara - asked me to do her cheeks again for a function after I forced her to let me do it the first time. Now thats saying something!
This year has gone so fast, soon enough bikini season will be upon us!
In the small country town I'm from we swim in channels, lakes, rivers, and dams; pretty much any body of water that we can jump in to escape the scorching heat.
But before I dive into that, I must find the perfect attire.

You know those moments in life you know you will never forget, well this is one of them.
If you've seen their movie 'This Is Us' you will already know how amazing the Take Me Home Tour is. But I'm going to elaborate on my experience.
When I walked into Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday night the first thing I thought was 'oh god I feel so old' and I immediately felt bad for the 10 year old girls behind us who probably couldn't see anything.
My two friends and I were seated on the floor only three rows in front of Stage B. I have no idea how I managed to get such good seats, you could literally see the freckles on their faces. It made me 10x more excited!
Australia's own 5 Seconds Of Summer was the opening act. They were really good and got the crowd going. I'm sure there were girls there who only bought the tickets to see 5SOS. However I felt quite uneasy about how extremely tight their jeans were.
When they put the Macarena on, the whole crowd were on their feet. After about 2 circles the screeching of thousands of teen girls (me included) filled the room when boys came out singing Up All Night.
After they sang some of my personal favourites I Would and Heart Attack, Liam informed us all that his Grandfather had passed away on the day they landed in Australia, and that it was the day of the funeral that he sadly couldn't attend. He then dedicated More Than This to his grandfather because it was his favourite song off the album.
Now to the best part! They started singing More Than this and got on a platform to float over the part of the crowd we were in to go to Stage B. I was freaking out thinking about how close to us they were going to be! I was then trying to figure out how to get one of them to notice me out of all the screaming girls. I waited for the perfect timing, not screaming or anything (I didn't want them to think I was crazy) then, I gave Harry a little salute, just to say hey. My heart dropped when he did it back! Then I started jumping around like a lunatic.

I seriously could not believe it. Out of all of them it was Harry! I know you aren't supposed to have favourites, but I have a definite soft spot for Harry.
When they landed, Zayn turned around, I blew him a kiss and he waved directly at me!
They then sang their cover of Blondie's One Way Or Another read out some tweets and Harry ate some 2 minute noodles before they went back to the main stage. Niall could not stop talking about how much he loves Melbourne. He said it is the best city in Australia and that his 3 top cities in the world are London, Tokyo and Melbourne. Won't be long before he buys a house here and marries a local - preferably me.
I was pumped when they started singing a cover of Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus! I was singing every word, but couldn't help hear the crowd was noticeably quieter. I think that song is much before a lot of the young'ns time.
During Kiss You Harry announced "I want to kiss everyone single one of you in this building". Where's the line? I'll go first!
At the last costume change they all came out in AFL Hawthorn Jerseys. Oh lord I could not contain myself. Two things I enjoy the most are boys in footy jumpers and One Direction. However when one of them yelled out 'Go Hawks!' they were surprised at the amount of booing. Niall then had to explain to the boys that there are more then one team in Melbourne (try 9).

Niall began singing We Cant Stop and twerking while Liam beatboxed. The crowd were loving it. They finished off with Live While We're Young and What Makes You Beautiful. The boys put on an amazing performance, no wonder girls can't help but be infatuated by them.
When I first moved in at Uni, I struggled to make my room feel homely. I was missing all the little nick nacks I have in my room at home. I decided to make these paper flowers to add some texture and make it feel more girly. How to make paper flowers!
The ones I have made are about the size of a tennis ball, you can make them bigger if you want, just remember to add more layers.
You will need
- Tissue Paper
- Scissors
- Thin string or thread
Cut out 5 layers of Tissue paper that are 13cm x 13cm (about 5.12 inches)
Pile together and fold one edge over about 1.5cm. Flip over and fold again back the opposite way (see pictures).
Continue until paper looks like an accordion. It should fold up into one line.
Then fold in half to find the middle
Tie the string or thread around the fold in the middle to hold it together and cut off excess string. If you want to hang it up, keep the string
Cut one end into a rounded shape. Fold in half and cut the other end into a similar shape
Spread out one side and carefully pull up one layer of tissue paper towards where the string is tied.
Repeat on the other side. Continue with all other layers of tissue paper
Fiddle with it to make the 'petals' look pretty. Push the last layer up around all the others
Viola! Now put a pin straight through the middle and pin to a cork board.
